Yes. The following individuals should not take DHEA 25:
- Anyone under the age of 18.
- Competitive athletes. DHEA is banned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the International Olympic Committee, and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
- Women who are pregnant or nursing, have endometriosis, or have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).Those with liver problems.
- Those with a history of hormone-related cancer, such as breast or prostate cancer.Individuals with diabetes, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.
- Those with hyperlipidemia.Men trying to father a pregnancy.
