The list below includes some of the more common potential interactions. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list or take the place of advice from your healthcare provider. As with any dietary supplement, discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine whether ConceptionXR Motility Support and NeoQ10 can be taken along with your medications.
Antibiotics: Taking zinc (in ConceptionXR Motility Support) along with antibiotics can decrease the absorption and effectiveness of the antibiotic. Depending on which antibiotic is prescribed, you may need to separate from ConceptionXR Motility Support, as indicated below.
- Cephalexin (Keflex): Take at least 3 hours before ConceptionXR Motility Support.
- Tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline, demeclocycline): Separate by 4 hours.
- Quinolone antibiotics (ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), Moxifloxacin (Avelox)): Separate by 6 hours.
Alkylating agents (chemotherapy drugs: busulfan, carboplatin, cisplatin, cyclophosphamide, dacarbazine, thiotepa, etc.): CoQ10 is an antioxidant and may lower the effectiveness of some medications used to treat cancer.
Coumadin (warfarin): CoQ10 may decrease the effects of this medication. Be sure to have your INR checked regularly if taking NeoQ10 with this medication.
