Will my insurance pay for HYALO GYN Vaginal Hydrating Gel?

Unfortunately, HYALO GYN does not qualify as a drug, but rather an over the counter, 510k FDA cleared medical device, which does not require the prescription of a doctor. Since this product is not an approved drug it does not have an NDC number and cannot be submitted for an insurance claim. This product also will not be reimbursed by Medicare or Medicaid.
