The Science
Baby blues affects up to 80% of new mothers.1
In a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial, fewer new mothers experienced postpartum blues when taking the key ingredients in Blues Away.
Blues Away helps to balance the mood changes caused by hormonal fluctuations after birth.* These changes are an essential part of the postpartum period, allowing the mother’s body to recover and support new needs, such as breastfeeding and emotional bonding with the newborn.
Postpartum blues may appear as soon as three days after labor – and may linger one to two weeks. Blues is also related to these hormonal changes caused by a dramatic drop in key brain neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine.
Blues Away is formulated to help supplement these neurotransmitters that may decrease following the hormonal changes after giving birth.
